Chally said that games like the one v Man Utd U21 offered players the opportunity to step up, which none of them took. Only Ben, Kyle Knoyle and Ryan Croasdale have been up to the mark and been consistently good this season so far in my book and Croasdale has only just returned from injury. Not one County fan I have spoken to can understand the logic of playing 2 full-backs/ wing backs as centre-backs with a consequent lack of height at the back while releasing Ryan Johnson and sending Lewis out on loan, signing players with known histories of injury and not providing cover/ competition for Kyle Wootton. These were factors mentioned on this board before a ball was kicked and all of them have come back to haunt us.
