A long term symptom for our fan base of the utter horrors we endured over a protracted period of time is that we simply don't think like our club can be successful. The club itself is very much approaching everything it does from the perspective of being a Championship club. But the not too distant memory of the very real nightmare of actually losing County altogether has left us fans mentally scarred. . Therefore in spite of the wealth Mr Stott has given us anything that is perceived as profligate will result in some throwing their hands up in horror, fearing a return to those very grim days. I don't think anyone can be blamed for that. Equally I wouldn't blame those in charge of the club if they found it slightly exasperating.
