    Wolverhampton Wanderers ( LA Wolves) 6
    Aberdeen ( Washington Whips) 5
    after overtime of overtime (as the US commentators described it)

    The inaugural USA soccer cup final.
    Not having any teams of their own the USA invited 14 clubs from across the globe to compete in the first ever All American Soccer Cup.
    Wolves, Stoke and Sunderland competed in the 9 week summer event from England, whilst Aberdeen competed from Scotland. Each club was given a USA type name and competed in 2 " conferences" of 7 teams, the winners of each competing in the final.
    Extra time if needed, and if still a draw then overtime or "golden goal" to decide the winner.

    But it was great to see Phil Parkes, Kenny Wagstaffe and the great Derek Dougan in a very feisty hot tempered game, with some very tasty tackles. Nice to see The Doug get on the score sheet too.
    Its well worth the watch
