We’re a very solid team and a match for anyone in this division but goals are a real problem. I think the missing player is an effective attacking midfielder. I don’t think we have that player capable of opening teams up with his dribbling and clever through balls to the forwards. I hope we make this position the number one priority next season and maybe throw a good few quid on the transfer if required. I see Danny Lloyd is doing really well at Rochdale. He’s too good for the national league (next season). Might be worth sending a scout out to watch him.. The attacking wing backs also need to work on their crossing but that can be done in training. I would like them to be getting close to the bye line before putting a cross in, knoyle did that on Friday and it lead to a goal. A lot of our crossing is too deep just 10/15 yards past the halfway line.
