| Apologies for my late response to Mr. Wilks's passing but I just had to pay my respects. Fond memories as many others have of supporting County through thick and thin with Dave. I remember as a pimply yoof, before he was Mayor of Brinny. When the home base for the Edgeley lot was the Swan and Dave lived a couple of streets away (Shaw Heath?). Had a good view from his place of the back yard of a local Indian where they discovered an alsatian's head! Rest in peace old friend. |
