    Torquay Home Game Archived Message

A draw at Wrexham on Sunday will not be the end of the world and will keep us in control.

A defeat at the Racecourse will put the cat amongst the pigeons with a nervy two games still to play and sew up the title.

Which brings me on to our home game v Torquay next Wednesday. There are currently a few thousand unsold seats around the stadium that has really surprised me. Could it be that the occasional fan or walk up will wait till Sunday afternoon pending the result before deciding whether or not to attend this game ?

However, what if we win at Wrexham the title will go to us then I guess there will be a stampede for tickets v Torquay. I can’t for the life of me see many Torquay fans travelling up for a midweek game with nothing to play for except pride. Faced with a possible 5 hour journey (257 miles) can only imagine a minibus of Torquay fans making this long journey. If this is the case the club ought to think about housing these fans somewhere in the ground (directors box springs to mind) and open up the railway end for County fans.

    Let’s have a heated debate.
