So we now come down to the crunch and I think when the season started we would certainly have taken the position we are now in , then !! Under Rusk , I was settling for mid table but DC is a magician to get us near to the finishing line , so many of the team have really come up a level , Collar , Crosedale , Rydel , Crankshaw , in fact most of the squad !! What is a bit annoying is the mere assumption from Wrexham fans , around their town , in the schools , shops , offices , that it was just a formality , just a matter of time when they caught Stockport County to take the title outright . Is that arrogant or what ? Because of their massive expectation they now have a sickened feeling , sort of a stomach upset that is swirling round , a real lower gut wrenching feeling that can last for hours , even several days . Why not regard the point at Borehamwood as a good point which keeps them in the mix , they could still win the title and snatch it from us but without getting too far ahead of myself that game in hand we have is really crucial . I still say that one win might get us over the line , but at Chesterfield we looked like ourselves again , Sarsevic and Newby ran the midfield , Madden was superb , Hippolyte caused problems down the left with his great skill and first touch . I feel the momentum is with us and we go to Wrexham on Sunday and am sure if we stay positive , create chances it is a great opportunity for our great club . What is my dream is to win that game and parade the National League trophy around the ground for everyone to see ! To be fair to Wrexham , they are a helluva side , score goals for fun , have a great fan base , great history . But there again so have we . Hard match to predict , I would delighted with a draw . I will be giving my play off predictions at a later date but if the table stays more or less as it is now , I fancy Solihull Moors to get promoted .  Bring it on ! |
