In the 60s the choice was mild, bitter and of course a pint of mixed, all locally sourced. Plus bottles of pale ale and brown ale and bottled Guinness. A good drink was a pint of “ Black and Tan”, a half of bitter in a pint pot and a bottle of Guinness. Women tended to drink cherry Bs, snowballs,Babychams. I think Wrexham Lager was the first lager available, probably about 1970.
