 Bergara Gin night makes big contribution to statue fund! The launcghtight of Bergara Gin, in association with Stockport Gin was a fantastic success. We were joined by six of Danny's former players - Paul Jones, Chris Beaumont, Peter Ward, Mike Flynn, Jim Gannon and Bill Williams. We can report that the recent launch night of Bergara Gin on Thursday night raised a fantastic £1,321 profit. This was from ticket sales, a grand raffle and an auction held by Steve Bellis. This does not include any profits from sales of gin bottles, which will be reported when the third and final batch is sold. Orders can be placed at https://www.stockport-gin.com/products/bergara-gin. Many thanks to our hosts, Steve Bellis and Nick Lee, Danny's former players, Stockport Gin for creating a delicious gin on behalf of the Co-op, and Penno Draws for designing the branding, Simon Dawson, Paul Thompson, Ian Brown, John Giles and Emma Mannion for helping organise this fantastic event, Steve Ridgway for donating drawings of Edgeley Park and Stockport County for donating hospitality tickets. We hope to hold another fantastic event later this year. |
