I think it's quite funny and entirely predictable that ever since the stewards lined up at the front of the CE towards the end of games, completely unnecessarily in my view, there have been some playful attempts by young teenagers to get on the pitch. No stewards, no challenge. No problem.
It's brilliant how the club is on the crest of a wave and we're moving in the right direction but I've lost count of the number of times I've heard of long standing fans and sponsors criticising the way the club has been going about its business off the pitch. That disconnect is still there.
Always worries me when people who have been here five minutes in return for a wage suddenly claim undying love for the club. Heard that at least twice.
As for the flag, no idea other than thinking the club should be doing a lot more to harness the creative thinking in the fanbase. The stuff they've put out is very professional but it all feels a bit off the shelf at times. Likewise the club shop.
Wouldn't be normal if we didn't have a few things to moan about I guess. Some could say it's the price of progress but I don't agree.
