What's your point though? What are they gaining?

The two teams who played Boxing Day on TV, Southend and Bromley, had no games postponed in the run-up to that game and Bromley are still due to play today.

What are Bronley gaining there? They've played their usual games and had no postponements anyway.

What are Southend gaining by postponing their game today? They're miles down the league and aren't likely to be relegated.

According to Altrincham, BT play £7k for TV games, with £6k going to the home team, so even if Southend did go ahead with it solely for the TV money, they'd have been due £1k.

And your soap opera comparison makes no sense either. Your wild theories are more suited to soap operas rather than my theory that the simplest answer is usually the correct one. That'd make for a boring soap opera wouldn't it?

We're in the middle of a worldwide pandemic and we live in a country that is recording record levels of new cases a day. There's around 100k new cases every day, so it's not unreasonable to expect that cases in football, as in all settings, will be on the rise and will inevitably cause postponements, as it has across all leagues, including many at the very top level of English football. That makes a lot more sense than your baseless claims.

Your arguments are so erratic and illogical, I swear it's like arguing with a child.
