I would never have sacked Jim, that was a dreadful decision and one I don't think I will ever understand.
We had a decent run last season and went 18 games unbeaten. The problem was our inability to deliver against the top sides, but we had that problem before SR arrived.
SR is clearly going through a difficult patch, but I thought that after the Yeovil game, he's got 3 more games and he's got to get at least 6 points. He has done that, despite Halifax being a disaster.
It's a steep learning curve, but I don't know what we would gain from changing the manager? If we did, I think we would replace SR with a similar u-23 coach and be in the same place.
We've got 2 winnable games coming up, my argument is that we give SR time and space to develop the team. We're much better now MSH and Kitching are back, but he does need a plan B (in terms of tactics & formation), which to be fair we did see that start to emerge against Wrexham.
Do you think we would benefit from chopping and changing the manager? Jim Gannon is not coming back, whatever we think.
