Croasdale would be very effective in the big games against the likes of Wrexham etc where you want a holding midfielder to protect the two centre half’s. However we play three centre half’s so I am not sure if that holding midfielder role is as important. His work rate and his judgment in sniffing out danger is excellent. I just wish he would pass it forwards and make a run with the ball.More often than not he gets the ball turns and passes it backwards. Not sure if that’s a tactic, lack of confidence or ability? He did play a superb pass against Southend to Rydal on Saturday. We need more of those passes in central midfield.
