It's been mentioned a little lower down the board, but i echo the comments made by another poster with regards our central midfield.
I appreciate everything that Paul Turnbull has done for the club, he has been a good solid servant to the club and players like that should be held in high regard. However, it is clear to me that while excels in desire and he lacks a bit of quality.
It was glaringly obvious to me that we actually played better, and got a better grip of the midfield AFTER Turnbull got sent off and Osbourne was put 'in the 8'.
For me, Osbourne has that bit of quality to hold onto the ball and drive us forward from a deeper position. He has the energy to play the 'Box to Box' midfielder role and would be the first name on my team sheet for the number 8 position.
It's been a shame so far that we haven't seen much of McAlinden in a central position. He clearly has something and his goalscoring record from a central position is impressive. I'd be looking to see him in the 10 with Ozzy in the 8 and let them work off each other like Ozzy did with Tom Walker while he was here.
I'm not convinced Jordan Archer is any better than what we already have. If anything, i thought Bell was much more effective when he came on.
For our next match, i'd be wanting to see (on the assumption there aren't any incomings or outgoings this week - which i'm led believe there will be):
GK Hincliffe RB Minihan - no idea why he's been dropped all of a sudden CB Palmer CB Arthur LB Clarke - seems Garratt has disappeared CM Keane CM Osbourne ACM McAlinden AML Lloyd AMR Thomas STK Bell
