When Kennedy left I was well chuffed when Swanton (or whatever his name was) said Kennedy had taken a million pound (or more?) 'bath' from buying us and Kennedy wasn't even a fan. Schadenfreude I think they call it.
I didn't read anyone suggest he was 'entitled' to that money back or even that anyone should stop moaning and move on or any of the other hackneyed comments that have appeared on here recently. We still get folk reminding us of his enduring legacy, I'll be doing much the same particularly now they walked away with their loans and debt paid off, they might be entitled but it stinks like shyt the morning after a good curry.
As for whether stott will be good, someone asked me that very question before the game yesterday, suggesting that a property man might find a more lucrative use for a few acres of prime real estate in Edgeley.
Well nobody expected Kennedy to stiff us and look what happened so who knows, but I think stott is here for the right reasons while Kennedy wanted somewhere for his rugby and obviously there's no land deal to entice any chancers like there was ten years ago.
