The ref was terrible, not an excuse for our performance but he was shocking.... As you rightly say, the ref spoke to at least one player at this incident, the sheer number of fouls committed by them up to that point should have meant that either of these two fouls on Jackson should have warranted a yellow. Tbh, the 2nd could have been a red as it was sooooo late.... And the ref had already blown the whistle for the first, which is why we had the free kick there. There is an argument that his loss poor performance did indeed contribute to the result overall, the disallowed goal on half time, that makes a massive difference if he doesn't blow up, almost passion as the free kick is taken, and for what??? And then we have the blatant foul/trip on Osbourne on the edge of their at 2-0 early in the 2nd half so denying us an attempt at goal from the free kick that should have been awarded. Going off some of the 'fouls' he awarded against our players we probably had a good about for more than one penalty too, especially when Palmer had his shirt virtually ripped off at one corner, it wasn't even a sky shirt tug, it was blatant. And then on the other hand, the one in the 2nd half when Bully was booked, had he played advantage, their lad was clean tourism their right. Am sure there are plenty more examples of his shoddy performance, nowt wrong with people pointy out his ineptitude.
