Not when I have a bike to get me home, thanks  For all the banter in this thread, I'm not anti-car. I own one. They have their uses. But we should be encouraged to use cars less and use other means of transport more. And despite some great promises of integrated transport networks and so on a deacde or so ago, this government has failed miserably to take us forward. The reason oil price increases are such a worry to people is partly because they've become so dependent on their cars and the alternatives are generally pretty p1ss-poor. |
