Very glad to say we don't have much in common with Crewe. There's much to despise about them. Their club became a vehicle for widespread sexual abuse, leading to multiple ruined lives, and all the while people turned a blind eye, something they continue to do.
Amazes me they're not seen as a total pariah within the football community. They're everything football clubs should not be.
Look at the clubs around the North West who have dropped into non-league in the last 15-20 years. Or worse in the case of Chester, Bury and Macc.
Crewe are the notable absence from these bad times. Arguably because of a strong legacy footballing wise left by people who remain morally tarnished by their ability to turn a blind eye.
Fold them.
