- Speaking of streets, some people who have been going to County for years think Hardcastle Road is called Hardcastle Street.
- The shade of blue on our kit is too light. It should be darker, proper royal blue.
- The use of #uth as a hashtag on our social media. It doesn't really work.
- Some County fans still call our goalkeeper Hinchcliffe.
- The drum and that 'der der' after a goal. Isn't it time we grew up and let our atmosphere be authentic and spontaneous?
- Pie, peas and gravy is great, but does anyone really want beef gravy with a chicken balti pie? Get a nice spicy sauce for that particular culinary ensemble.
- Can we have chips too? I like chips.
- I know we have to do it but the announcement of who we've got as ref before every game is weird.
- The lack of recognisable run out song. Let's just bring back the 90s one. It's a bit retro now. To Be Number One - Giorgio Moroder.
- I don't like the carpet in the banqueting suite. It's all silvery and weird. A very odd weft and warp to it. Maddening.
- The main entrance to the Main Stand, plus the windows... They need to be more sympathetic to the structure within which they sit. I'm thinking a bit of stained glass depicting famous points in our history.
- "Upgrade your matchday" rhetoric for corporate deals. Is it an upgrade? That implies sitting in a carpeted area on a seat with armrests, surrounded by people in pointy shoes is a better matchday experience than the rough and ready but slightly less comfortable areas elsewhere in the ground. It's an assumption that those in the CE would automatically view a posh seat as better. Many wouldn't. They're not here for comfort or a nice bathroom experience. They're here for tradition, camaraderie etc, none of which are in abundance in the posh seats, hence it's not an upgrade.
- The announcement that away fans should leave the stadium via the exit gates. Stating the obvious. Each week everyone around me laughs at it. There must be a legit reason but it creates amusement. Actually keep it. It's part of the lols.
- Artificial turf around the edges of the grass. I am not onboard with this. It's practical but it annoys me.
- The TV angle. This is a long running one. Not a lot we can do about it at this point but I hate how goals like the one on Monday look good, but never great because the TV angle is too close and the perspective doesn't help things look quite as impressive. Wolves is the blueprint for this. Good goals look great at Wolves and it's because of the perspective they're filmed from. It used to just be a personal gripe, a pet peeve, but with youtube and things going viral after games now, it'd be nice if the camera angle helped show off highlights and good goals in a way that really shows off how good we can be.
That's it for now. Trivial enough?
