Yep, Right to Buy. What a shambolic policy, intended to bribe their target voters who cannot get on the housing ladder.
Right to Buy is the equivalent of pouring petrol on a bonfire, in terms of it's effect on house prices. Absolute economic madness.
The only way out of this is to sort the 'supply' side and that means building genuinely affordable housing.
There are plenty of new builds, but the prices are around £200,000 to £250,000. Way out of range
