Just a few months ago our cat (of about 14 years) looked like he was terminLly Ill. We spent a small fortune at the vets (some of which was recoverable from insurance) and they had pretty much given up on him, couldn’t find anything wrong with him other than to say it looks like “he’s shutting down”. We brought him home for a few days to see how things went and remarkably he improved day after day and is fine and well now.
But when it looked like we would lose him my wife was upset but the 2 lads. (Grown men) in their 20s) who still
Live st home were heartbroken.
As has been said pets seem to form a relationship with us as strong as many adults do.
When he can home my wife decided the cat was possibly dehydrated due to him liking to sit for long periods in the conservatory which gets very hot in the day. Only change we made when he came home was to ensure he didn’t spend any time in there, it seems she was right.
