Chesterfield - relegation looming

After losing their local derby with Mansfield 1-0 on Saturday they now seem to be in deep trouble. Another "big club" possibly losing their League status? Despite a new stadium , Jack Lester in charge and Christian Dennis scoring 17 goals they are adrift at the bottom. They had 8000 at their home game on Saturday and they are averaging 5350 - so they are still very well supported compared to other teams. If we manage to get out of our League it will be good to renew our battles with them. The awful defeat 4-0 in the play offs in 1990 and another game when Paul Williams failed to throw the ball back to them , after a time wasting injury to one of their players , stick in my mind.
