What we got with that debate was the latter and I was saying that before the result of the vote was known, so this is not sour grapes at the result. What has happened since has only strengthened my view that this country prepared badly for the most important vote in over a generation, it was let down by protagonists on both sides, the vote itself was supposed to be advisory rather than binding, the outcome of the result left us in limbo because, whatever anyone says in this thread, no-one knew what 'Leaving' would look like - only their version of it - and indeed they still don't. Not to mention the absolute mockery of democracy that many of our free press are prepared to inflict on us.
It was (and is) a horrible, horrible mess and as a country we should be embarrassed by the nature of how democracy has been abused in our name, irrespective of the outcome.
Oh, and I despise Blair too, FWIW.
