Stockport should feed off it's proximity to 5 million people not just Manchester not only that it should feed off its direct links with Birmingham and London. So why isn't it? Why is it just a sail through to Manchester?
Because there's nothing going on in Stockport?
What pleases you in architecture is subjective. The town has no cutting edge 21st century architecture.
I may not like Birmingham's new town centre, but that is subjective, the fact that it has modern cutting edge architecture is without question.
Stockport has none.
The pyramid is 1980s, designed and conceived from the 1980s irrespective of when it was finished... and it still isn't finished.
