Part timers at this level have usually made arrangements with their employers.
We are in no different position than other part time teams.
Just another excuse for underperforming, six part time teams above us, probably none with a better budget.
Accrington got promoted from the Conference, and in the early years full time, John Coleman used players extensively from Merseyside.
We are not looking just at FCUM, Curzon etc.
At this level, recruitment and player management count a lot.
Chorley consistently are in the playoffs, their manager said in the Non League Paper their budget is in the bottom five.
They are yet again above us in the league and we are three points above FCUM whose accounts show their budget two seasons ago was only 122k.
Nobody can disagree that a large budget and full time is ideal, but we are where we are at the moment, and badly underperforming given the budget that S77 says has been given to spend this season
