Jim Gannon needs to achieve a win ratio of around 60% to get us promoted. Over the last two years he has had a win ratio of 43%. We finished 8th last year and are currently lying 10th this year. So far as I am aware the team has a top four budget. We are the best supported team in the league. You can argue Jims tactics are the best but we are nonetheless consistently under-performing. Personally I think there are reasons , other than tactics , for this - for example we are not getting enough of our player recruitments right, not recruiting to the right positions and not fully getting the best out of the players we have. Injuries are clearly putting us in a false position at the moment but we are already being left with a lot to do if we are going to get promoted. Supporter frustration and criticism is obviously going to follow if we are not in the promotion mix.
