I was hugely impressed today just how many people were sporting the Poppy!
As someone whose grandparents served as a Submariner (Ended up in Australia), a commando (finished up in Caan, Northern France), ATS & Mills on the Home Front bringing up my mother and Siblings.
Also familey members and friends of the familey have served and are currently serving in both the RAF and the army I think this is a little token for the work these mostly VERY young people do!
I keep losing my poppy and having to donate for another one due to the crappy pins but do not for one min regret it.
Lest we forget!
