Quite aside from the fact that the crains business article contradicts itself by saying
'Administrators had previously agreed a deal with a consortium led by former Manchester City footballer Jim Melrose to buy the club, but the deal was subject to an agreement between Melrose and Cheshire Sport Promotions Ltd, the firm which owns its Edgeley Park Stadium. However, the two sides failed to agree a deal'
then immediately after
'It’s well reported that the Melrose Consortium failed to proceed with their bid due to failing to reach agreement with the Football League on a number of issues which are still outstanding.'
The announcement on COWS direct from the administrator says
'A number of issues that are key to us being able to conclude a sale are to be considered by the Football League at a meeting next week and we are hopeful that significant progress can be made to conclude a sale after that meeting.'
Yet you seemingly choose to completely ignore the official announcement.
Is that because the COWS announcement has at least a small element of positivity?
