No reason at all to doubt you and I think that is very good news (at last). But I am having trouble squaring what you have just posted with this bit:
James Jennings. CEO of Cheshire Sport and Sale Sharks said, “ It’s well reported that the Melrose Consortium failed to proceed with their bid due to failing to reach agreement with the Football League on a number of issues which are still outstanding.”
Certainly hasn't been well reported as Jennings claims as far as I am aware and how does that quote sit with what Jim told you today?
