When he left the Shadows to go solo, Dosser was suicidal! he staged a one man hunger strike on top of the Town hall which lasted 3 hours and 2 minutes.
Hank marvin had to be parachuted in armed with a black pudding flavored Pot-Noodle to talk him down and a friendship that lasted for days ensued.
Thats why when you hear somebody saying that 'I'm f*****g Hank Marvin' they are in fact quoting the bespected guitarist word for word when he first met Dosser due to the fact that Hank (real name Frank) was in a foul mood due to Cliff (real name Rupert) doing one.
Even to this day our hero turns off his radiogram when 'Move it' comes on, though I hear he's quite partial to 'Power to all our friends (to the music that never ends)' and I've seen him roller blading around the grounds of his halfway house to 'Wired for sound' until, that is, the police were called after complaints were made about the 'snugness' of his Lycra mini-shorts.
