Let's not be too harsh on him - he's got talent, but is still only a kid and should be learning his trade now. He has been thrown in due to circumstances, and Jimbo said as much last season.
Remember too he's been playing with a fragment of bone floating in his ankle. Interesting in the interview with Rodger on Player that he said the club can't afford investigations into these sort of injuries any more. A club with some money would have sent him for a scan immediately, instead we are trying to guess what is wrong.
