Nick Griffin's performance was not very accomplished from a man who in the past has relied on slick PR. Squirmish, agitated and evasive against a very hostile crowd, especially early on. However, I thought Jack Straw did himself and the Labour Party no favours either though - an equally bad performance.
On the subject of should he have been allowed on - why was that Bonnie Greer women allowed on? Is she a politician? No. Question Time over the past few years always has a leftfield non-politician (Eddie Izzard and the like), so the argument against banning Nick Griffin appears pretty weak.
