You actually make some good points, except for:
1) Your undeniably personal opinion/insult of Barton. If you have a b###h with the guy, settle it yourself. Sounds like you think you've "got the goods" on him, though, especially the part about him buying technology. Sounds an awful lot like an anonymous assault to me. By the way, is Starfish your first name or last name?
2) Your claim that I am a narrow-minded dolt whose only claim to fame is as an Internet stalker. Again, you have revealed nothing about yourself that makes you anything but the same. Your chief claim to fame appears to be defending Westcott. Oh, and making fun of the fact that Barton colors his hair.
I have never said (and will never say) that Charlie isn't genuinely brilliant. And I mean brilliant, not just talented. I am living in the real world, though, and his anti-social behavior, unwarranted attacks on people who are literally just minding their own business (many of them customers, who have since become former customers) and relentless negativism (NHRA sucks, Barton sucks, Bucky sucks, Kobylski sucks, Woo sucks, everything sucks)have seriously diminished his achievements, in my mind.
The beauty of a democracy (which it will remain, at least until your boy Obama works his magic) is that everybody gets to voice their opinion. Your "Barton wrote a check to go fast" opinion is every bit as allowable as my "Westcott is a dick" opinion.
