Vinny, at the risk of leaving Ed F. off the list 
, I'd say Fletcher, the Biondo brothers and Jimmy DeFrank are among the best Sportsmen drivers ever. Not only can they repetitively poke up nearly unbeatable packages, they don't have to rely on shoe polish to win most races -- unlike many of today's dial-up heroes who have conveniently forgotten that drag racing began as a performance-based sport.
