I have been a fan of this board for several years, but recently its been pretty low key.. so, what is something that you wont forget that you've witnessed at the drag strip??? I have several like i'm sure most of us have, but one is Mike Bogina (high adventure hemi) SS/DA cuda convertible do the craziest wheelie ever!! It was at a nat'l event in brainerd 5 yrs ago I believe. It was first rd qualifying and that thing stayed on the rear tires until about 300ft. then the rear tires came off the groung and went airborn... he came back down to the asphalt only to buckle the front end, and do same major damage obvliously to the chassis and that poor ol' SuperStock Hemi was wounded big time!! Bob frey was announcing, there were me and 3 friends in the stands and probably only like another 20-30 people in the stands watching.(it was like 50 degrees and rainy)I had a camera with me but by the time I realized I had it, I only got a pic of what looked like a 1/2 track top fuel burnout from all of the smoke!!
