I was embarrassed to admit it to my family-so I brushed it under the rug and secretly went out to different auditions here and there and it was tough. Overhearing the others that were also auditioning was discouraging...they would talk about the years that they spent practicing this and mastering that...starring in this and featured in that. I would still go out there and make myself feel less than and use it as practice. When you shared that you left Wilson, North Carolina with $2 and slept on the streets (although you cut up so much, I don't know whether to believe that or not) I felt much better! I appreciate the advice of how to twist the facts that Mel shared (A Raisin In The Sun...in my living room) and from you Miguel to never give up. As funny as it may sound, I feel that I will 'arrive...that I'm supposed to be there...I've just got to work at it until I get it. Thank you again for your time and I wish you contined success. I just wanted to take a moment and thank you again for sharing your time with us Friday afternoon (11/5/04) at the Double Tree. I sang your praises to all those that read the message board on imreadyproductions.com and encouraged people to make sure that they make it out in a couple of weeks when you come back and share some more information.
