I never considered the character offensive, I liked the character personally, I don't think that she is giving Blacks a bad image, she's a respectful character, funny and she seems intelligent, though maybe she didn't have a good education. Stereotypes exist inside the cartoon creators' heads, and stereotypes still exist in films today, but they're not targeted so much (probably because they are white stereotypes).
