Anyone who says it's racism is just being political and looks for any excuse to give a negative opinion about something. I grew up with the old cartoons, Tom & Jerry was my favorite. Kids love to watch Mammy because she is like an old-fashioned nanny you just gotta love and give a hug to. She's very funny. There is nothing racist about reality. Racism only exists through the eyes of people who look for it. Kids don't look for it so it does not exist to them. The best thing to do is leave it alone and stop talking about it and it will go away. But attacking old childrens cartoons while leaving the filthy garbage new carttons on tv to really rot our kids minds is reckless.
Mammy reminds me of some of my distant kin folk from when I was very little. They were from the hills and where all white. So Mammy really represents a class close to the 'poor' class. Thats where i am from. This is unacceptable to many Americans as dirty and criminal.
