Mammy was created by white folk to put down black women. It is a stereotype and is therefore racist. Mammy assumes that all black women are overweight, illiterate, abusive, and willing to serve "master". Mammy two shoes is racist because she is meant to bring comedy by putting down black people. Otherwise mammy would've been white from the beginning.
