First question....It has been 8 years since I was in Nepal (was there in 1999, 2000, & 2001) and I have heard that the Jomsom side of the Annapurna trekking area has been sort of ruined by a new road with scooters, taxis, buses, etc.....how is it at Jharkot? Has the road and vehicles hit this village yet or is it still free of that stuff?
Second question.....how difficult is it to get to Lake Phoksundo and are any permits required like for Upper Mustang? Is there a teahouse trek available in that area?
