Posted by Greg agecies forced will say that a guide is not necessary ! I disagree , not only alone was. He is true mountain man known bt nearly all the local people, culture about of hinduism,buddism, tibetan, customs, flora and fauna. He was a funny man that kept me going on some of the killer descents. he knows tha tracks / paths setter than anyone and always stopped at the best guest houses -not only for accoomandtion but food and views. Had a wonderful time and would highly recommands the independent trekking guide and specially for Annapurna,Dhaulagiri region and Tilicho Lake(World hightest palce Lake). Thanks and Best wishes,
