Posted by Thomos was in Dec 2000(7 days Jomsom Muktinath-Birethati) and the third time was in dec 2002(19 days trek to Annapurna circuit trek (Throng-la pass 5416M)and 4th time Nov 2006 Tilicho Lake_Mesokanta pass-Jomsomtrek in 15 days. On all 4 occucations I was accompanished by a guide Tulasi from Pokhara. I carried our own backpack but some time he helped us in hard parts on trek. He have done a great job arranging trekking permits in advance, and on the trek guide Tulasi have been outstanding in helpful planning the trekking days and finding good guest house where to stay overnight. Also the guide Tulasi have been excellent company on the treks. Furthermore, He have been helpful in making the reservations and in assisting in other practical matters. His fees was absolutely reasonable. We are therefore, able to give him our warmest recommand to all the trekkers who want to independent trekking guide in Nepal.
