The Director felt at the time know one wanted to set through a two hour movie. I I read somewhere there is about 30min on the cuting room floor. The 3 or 4 minuts that's add to the movie on reguler TV. The only reason why we see that is because the movie isn't long enough for a 2 hour slot.
