Posted by Kelly on 11/17/2001, 9:46 pm C. Thomas Howell, best known for his role as Ponyboy in the 1983 movie 'The Outsiders', could face more than four years in prison in connection with a hit-and-run incident last December. Prosecutors say the 34-year-old actor struck skateboarder Shawn C. Burgess, 20, with his truck and fled. Howell allegedly returned to the scene and threatened Burgess with a hammer. The actor says no harm was done and that if he were "a gardener, this would not be happening." *tisk, tisk* I guess I'm gonna have to raise my voice towards US Weekly. Today is the 17 of November and CT was acquitted when? Hmmm, November 6? They've had 11 days to print something and when they do it's sooooooo wrong. That's not good US Weekly, not good at all.
If I'm wrong Jen, please forgive me. This is taken from US Weekly during the week of Nov. 19, 2001 (*note the date I just mentioned*). This is the article that goes along with it.
