If the Long Haul players' bat is found to be illegal than it's a sad day for women's softball. The other sad note is that it probably happens more often than we know by many teams no matter what division they play in. Why can't we just use legal equipment? My worst fear is that someone is going to have to be seriously injured or even killed before people change their ways. Is it really worth it to use an illegal bat knowing that you could seriously injure someone just so you can hit over a 300 foot fence? I hope the bat wasn't illegal because it will tarnish a very good team's reputation and that is sad, especially for all the players who are on the up and up.
