There were a lot of accusations being thrown around from the coach of a Minnesota team and the Minnesota USSSA director. How was he so definite about which bat HE wanted tested. Sounds very suspicious to me. I watched the coach walk back and forth from his standing and whining place behind the Ice dugout (his team had already lost out)to USSSA officials to protest every good hit made by Long Haul players. I listened as the director pleaded his "case" to anyone who would listen. Where was the Florida USSSA director, why wasn't he around? Why was the Thunderboltz coach allowed to take part in the "meeting" between Ian and USSSA officials? Why was the so-called meeting made in public?? What happened to the pulled bat while it was out of the control of Long Hauls' possession?
If USSSA was really serious about stopping altered bats from being used, why weren't the bats tested prior to the tournament, as the men's bats were?
Right Long Haul does not need altered bats, player for player they outplay and outclass other teams and have proven it time and time again. Granted this has marred the team's season, but let's face it there's not another team around that could play up to their calibre this tournamnet weekend. So those of you who are still whining and looking for your world season rings, take note shut up and practice.
