Mary,
I just wanted to say I wish Mary all the best in a speedy recovery. Three years ago when I was hit at the World Series, Mary, was so very kind and concerned and offered me stong words of wisdom. Luckily, I survived that and have been injury free up until two weeks ago where I also was hit in the face on the mound and am now recovering from surgery. I can honestly say I know what your going through Mary.. your one tough cookie.. but it still hurts like hell!! Hang in there!
I wish you nothing but the best and hopefully will be seeing you at the World Series this coming weekend and we can compare war wounds from being on the mound!
