Hi Stephanie,
the problem you have is that Simmonswood is not a town or village. It is historically what it says a major wooded/forested area called Simmonswood (Its similar to Sherwood Forest.... a large historical woodland area that sadly has been progressively chopped down and is now a claer area comprising of mossland.
The general area covers approximately the area from Kirkby (Liverpool) west to Rainford and north the Ormskirk.
