Hello everyone. I have traced my mothers family back as far as c.1700 to John Urmson, a yeoman with land at moreton and Bidstan. JU married a Catherine Newbutt (Newport or Newbott or...?) in 1714 at West Kirby. I would very grateful for any assistance in getting further back - with either family
I have also learnt that between 1426-1436 a Robert Urmston was Prior of Birkenhead Priory. Now I know it may be a huge leap of faith but would be excite to discover if a link could be proved.
Finally I know that the Urmson sisters were keepers at Bidston lighthouse - again i would like to determine what their relationship was with JU.
