Hignett family - tobacco industry

Hi, I am trying to research the above family, especially Theophillus Hignett. He was born in 1877 and was part of the Hignett Brothers Tobacco company, that also joined the Imperial Tobacco Company. In my possession I have many cheques signed by him dating from 1911/12 which are proving to be very interesting. Any information would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks Diane
